JackRebel.com, owned by *rebstile, was a major influence in this skin. I love the use of simple colours and the way they contrast everything nicely. So I decided I wanted that in a skin but to still utilize Aero, and Silica was born :-)

Since the site features a lot of artists from all over, which can be a personal honour for anyones work being promoted, I wanted to keep that “personal” feel and thought what better way than to be able to brand it with your own identity. So I have made the FIRST skin where you can use your own initial as the startbutton ;-)
